My name is Josiel Souza. I’m a dental surgeon who graduated from ESAMAZ and completed my degree in dentistry in 2020.
I have worked in private practices and also in the public sector.
I’ve always liked to explain the procedures I’m going to do to patients, detail the treatment plan and talk about the possible rehabilitations for the case.
Patients are laypeople. What may seem simple to us is something new and unknown to them. So it’s very important to explain in great detail.
Because when the patient understands the procedure they need or want, they are much more confident about having the procedure, and so the possibility of adhering to the treatment is much greater.
In addition, I also like to give guidance to patients after extractions, after aesthetic procedures such as resin veneers, and also recommend products that I trust for the patient to buy.
These actions build patient loyalty. When I understood this, I decided to create these visual tools to help communicate with the patient and, consequently, close more treatments.
This is how Didactic material for dental consultations was born, a simple and practical method that can help you, the dentist, to make a difference and stand out in dentistry.
